Kaizer Chiefs star Stanton Fredericks has transitioned into a new role at Botswana Premier League side Mochudi Centre Chiefs FC. The club announced that 'Stiga', as his affectionately known, will no longer serve on the Board of Directors. As a result, Fredericks will now take up the role as Director of Football at the Botswana outfit. The former Chiefs star will oversee a number of aspects at the club, including player movements. "Stanton Fredericks transitions into a strategic role on the Board of Directors as Director of Football, where he will oversee youth development, player recruitment and technical support, reinforcing the club’s long-term football vision and commitment to sustainable success,” reads the statement. "As part of this leadership transition, he has appointed Nic Mathew as President of Mochudi Centre Chiefs Sporting Club to lead the Club into its next chapter."
